Buy locally, not at Amazon

During this time of chaos within our government, many of us are feeling uncertainty about our financial futures. But the owners of our local small businesses are feeling especially pinched by the economic turmoil.
If we want to keep businesses in areas like the NewBo District, Czech Village, and others alive, we need to spend our money there. Instead of shopping at Amazon and giving your hard-earned money to the second richest person in the world, Jeff Bezos, keep your money in your community and shop at independently owned stores.
Instead of eating at national chain restaurants, enjoy delicious meals planned, prepared, and served by members of your community. Our fun, friendly, and unique local shopping and dining establishments depend on us for their livelihood. And we depend on them to make our local communities places where we all want to live and thrive.
