Buy Iowa meat from local farmers

Regarding the June 21 article 'Want groceries? You can go online for that”:
I like this article, however, The Gazette left out several local farmers where customers can buy meat. The one in particular I'm thinking of is wallacefarms.com. They raise grass-fed cattle in Keystone and source their naturally raised/humanely raised/grass fed chicken, turkey, pork and lamb mostly from other Iowa farmers. A small percentage of meat is sourced from the Midwest. Their fish, of course, comes from Alaska and coastal areas (currently Florida). There also are plenty of Iowa meat vendors where you can find the same type of meat (grass fed etc.) at farmers markets.
Yes, this meat is more expensive than Zaycon Fresh, the vendor in the article. If that's all you cared about you'd buy meat in the grocery store. People tout buy local. Zaycon gets meat from all over the U.S. It's time to put your money where your mouth is. Also, think of the carbon footprint with all that trucking. Yes, Zaycon Fresh gives a portion of sales to the churches they use as pick up points. I like the idea of money going to the church. Donate to the church, but buy Iowa meat.
