Business experience won’t solve our problems
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Oct. 20, 2012 12:52 pm
Anyone believing that Mitt Romney's business experience will solve our problems should remember how well the leadership of businessman and President George W. Bush worked. As an MBA/former governor, such as Romney, Bush crashed the economy and let crazies take over the Republican Party.
Romney would give us more of the same. While he's now pretending some moderation, who can believe that self-described “severely conservative” Romney would stand up to Republican extremists who want the government to control women's reproductive rights, privatize Medicare and deregulate Wall Street? Who wants someone who has written 47 percent off as freeloaders appointing Supreme Court justices?
The economy is improving without an MBA in the White House. Vote for President Barack Obama and Democratic candidates to keep the progress going.
