Brown willing to address city needs

As I've been studying the candidates for Tuesday's election, I've seen a disturbing trend. Nearly every candidate touts his or her credentials in the business field. I'm not saying business is bad. Cedar Rapids certainly needs the tax revenue from businesses.
But what about the cultural diversity of our city? What about the arts? We have three professional sports teams. Don't we get revenue from them? Don't we get revenue from the visitors who stay in our hotels to see concerts, go to conventions?
Our City Council is packed with executives. Our candidate list isn't much better. There is only one I see that has an equal balance of economic and cultural experience: Anthony Brown, at large candidate, seems the only one willing to address all the needs of our city.
