Branstad should stop double dipping

To the editor:
I thoroughly enjoyed Todd Dorman's column, 'Branstad knows what's best” published April 9.
I believe he forgot one thing. Gov. Terry Branstad has stated several times that he is trying to save taxpayer dollars.
In my opinion, one of the best and easiest ways to do this would be for Branstad to stop double dipping. If my information is correct, Branstad receives a substantial pension from when he was retired a few years ago as governor. He also receives a six figure salary as governor.
Think of all the taxpayers dollars that could be saved if Branstad could bring himself to give up one or the other.
