Branstad not addressing state’s pressing needs

Doesn't the state have more pressing matters calling for a governor's attention than trying to correct an educational system whose scholars once again scored among the nation's very best ACT scholars?
Gov. Terry Branstad, you appear to consider our teachers incompetent and lackadaisical dolts ... at the same time you ignore the sorry state of the mental health system, health insurance for the needy, concern for the working class Iowans while you cultivate the welfare of corporations and out-of-state and foreign entities that may provide a few jobs.
With the state's current surplus, couldn't you see your way to do something more than to face the closure of facilities such as the Abbe Center, whose needy occupants are left stranded?
