Braleys listens to and works for Iowans

Congressman Bruce Braley is listening to and working for us - tax cuts for 97 percent of taxpayers, combat pay for veterans, plain language in government documents, students being able to remain on parents' health insurance plans until they are 26 years old, flood recovery funds, revealing donor names of campaign donations, closing the gap in the Medicare prescription doughnut hole, etc.
So why would an anonymous group - American Future Fund, with no public disclosure of donors and a UPS mailbox as their headquarters - be spending $800,000 on factless, negative mailings and TV commercials to oppose him? What do they hope to gain for themselves?
I want a congressman who thinks for himself, is informed, listens to constituents and talks about the issues. That is why I am supporting Bruce Braley on Nov. 2.
