Braley stood strong against tax breaks
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Dec. 21, 2010 12:38 pm
Thursday night, the House of Representatives passed the deal to extend the Bush tax breaks for the rich, sending the bill to President Obama to be signed into law. The good news is that our 1st District member of Congress, Rep. Bruce Braley, stood tall and voted no.
Since this issue will come up again in just two years, the campaign to stop the next millionaire tax bailout starts now. Please encourage Rep. Braley to stay the course and to continue his opposition.
