Braley has supported American workers

Rep. Bruce Braley, D-Iowa, has been making the rounds in the area touting the benefits of his HIRE Act providing tax credits for businesses that hire unemployed workers. More important than that, the tax credits in the bill are paid for by cracking down on businesses that ship jobs overseas and individuals who use tax havens to avoid their fair share.
I applaud the congressman for taking action to crack down on tax cheats and companies that ship jobs overseas. To get more people working, we need to support those companies that are setting up shop in the United States and not sending jobs to China. Braley is working for the people and veterans of Iowa, not for the American Future Fund that is trying to buy Iowa elections for the party of “no.”
