Braley fights for middle class

Politicians always say they fight for the middle class or the 'average” American.
That makes sense as the middle class is the backbone of our economy and includes the majority of Americans.
In the U.S. Senate race, there is a stark difference between the two candidates on who actually fights for the middle class, and you don't need to look any further than the issue of minimum wage.
Hundreds of thousands of Iowans across the state earn the minimum wage and it affects many working-class families. The minimum wage has not kept pace with inflation, while other average wages have skyrocketed, such as chief executive officer pay. No one should work full time and still live in poverty.
Bruce Braley understands this and has repeatedly called for an increase in minimum wage. He knows how a higher minimum wage would mean a more secure income and more secure future for Iowa families. Braley actually fights for the middle class.
Joni Ernst, on the other hand, does not. She has stated how she opposes raising the minimum wage. This radical, anti-Iowa policy is so extreme that even prominent Republican Rick Santorum takes a different position than Ernst.
