Braley contributed to national debt

Speaking at a fundraiser Bruce Braley proudly stated he had fought against tort reform for 30 years. Tort reform would do more to lower the overall cost of health care then any single thing that could be done. Protecting the income of trial lawyers must be a top priority for Braley.
When Braley entered Congress (January 2007), the federal debt was less than $9 trillion. After his four terms (eight years) in Congress, the federal debt will be almost $18 trillion. He did not do that by himself, but he certainly contributed to it. Check his voting record in Congress. Braley never met a spending bill he didn't like.
