As proud Cedar Rapidians, our interest has always been a desire to see Cedar Rapids become a stronger city for businesses and citizens.
Our view of the mayor-city manager form of government has been one that includes the Economic Alliance. A perfect example is a three-legged milking stool which provides balance on uneven areas. This balance is needed as we face future growth and unseen obstacles. Each entity offering critical input for the functioning of Cedar Rapids.
Companies look for our community to be a place to find the highest quality of employees, tax incentives and a place for their employees to live, work and play. Our mayor welcomes businesses to our city and gives highlights of the benefits of living here. The Economic Alliance can expand on this and sell them on all aspects of becoming a vital part of our community. The city manager will deal with the details.
It is easy to identify problems. It takes experience to find solutions. Brad Hart has shown dedication by 30 years of volunteer work and his past four years as a part time mayor, a job that requires full time effort.
Brad’s skill set is priceless. His decades as a business attorney have given him the wisdom that few have to address issues that affect businesses. His volunteer work has given him insight into understanding the needs within a thriving city.
Our city needs Brad Hart to continue to succeed. Please give your vote to Brad Hart.
