Boy Scout Troop 85 grateful for donation

To the editor:
I am a Boy Scout in Troop 85. We were having a Christmas gift wrapping event at Gander Mountain on Dec. 6.
This was to raise money to support the activities of our troop. We were having some pretty good business that day and were gladly accepting donations for the gifts we wrapped.
A man in a white and red striped hat came over. He did not have anything for us to wrap, but he was going to make a donation. He originally brought out some $20 bills and then he put them away. We thought he was changing his mind, but then he brought out his Christmas money. He gave us a $100 bill! It was the highlight of our day.
We would like to give a shout out to the man in the white and red striped hat. We are still not able to thank you enough. On behalf of Troop 85, please know that we are very grateful.
