Bowing to whim of one person

I was very upset by the article in The Gazette about the complaint made over the psalm and image on a Cedar Rapids fire truck (“Complaint over psalm, image on fire truck,” March 11). The article indicated that the complaint was made by a citizen - one citizen - not citizens.
This image has been on the firetruck for the past 16 years. Why hasn't anyone noticed or complained during those 16 years? Because nowadays everyone knows that it only takes one person to say “unfair,” and that person can have it their way.
