Bouska will focus on purposeful endeavors

Marion was a wonderful place for myself and my brothers to grow up in. Seventh Avenue was a beacon through the town; it was the mainstay thoroughfare.
But for the past several months, residents here have been subjected to the worst kind of stupidity with this Seventh Avenue project. It makes no sense to close down a four-lane street and move traffic to a two- lane street, or even worse, expand Sixth Avenue and displace residents along that route.
Basically, the existing mayor and City Council want to spend our tax dollars on a useless project that serves no purpose. Why would anyone want those people to lead us?
That's why I'm endorsing Allen Bouska for mayor. He is opposed to this idea and with him as mayor, as well as Dwight Hogan (Ward 1), Paul Draper (at large) and George Ulferts (Ward 3) on the City Council, they would have the majority vote and be able to stop the “madness.”
They could redirect efforts and tax dollars to more purposeful endeavors for this great city. Be sure to vote for these four.
