I live in Iowa’s 1st District, I’m a Christian, and I’ve prayed about writing this. I feel called to speak out on an issue that weighs heavily on my heart and should concern all who value the sanctity of life
This election, we face a clear moral choice. Our incumbent congresswoman, Mariannette Miller-Meeks, has consistently stood up for the rights of the unborn, advocating for life. However, her opponent Christina Bohannan, has supported and will continue to support extreme abortion policies that are out of touch with our values. Bohannan has made it clear that she supports abortion up until the moment of birth. This goes against the principles of human dignity and respect for life that we have, as followers of Christ.
We’re called to be voices for the voiceless. The Bible teaches us that life is precious and should be protected from conception to natural death. Miller-Meeks has demonstrated a pro-life commitment, fighting to defend the most vulnerable among us. Christina Bohannan’s stance on abortion puts us on a dangerous path that disregards the sanctity of life and the moral foundation upon which our society was built.
I urge you to take this issue seriously and consider the implications of electing a representative who does not protect life. Talk to your family, your friends, your neighbors, and your community. A vote for Mariannette Miller-Meeks, is a vote for life.
