Big rig critic, beware change in Illinois change in speed limit

Mr. Herman Lenz (March 21 letter), for years you have been bashing big rigs, for what reason I don't know. You always have some statistic stating how states with lower speed limits for trucks have lower fatality rates.
In your latest letter, you said that you have gotten letters from people who have said that it is a relief to drive in Illinois because they have a lower speed limit for trucks. Well, on Jan. 1, Illinois raised the speed limit for big rigs to 65 mph on rural interstates. I would have thought that you would have known that. You better not drive in Illinois anymore because there are speeding big rigs there!
