Biden is the best pick, faults and all

Truth be known, Joe Biden was not my first choice for the Democratic presidential nominee. He would not have received my second or third choice either. But Joe Biden will be the Democratic candidate. His critics point out that Mr. Biden occasionally misspeaks, makes verbal gaffes and loses his train of thought. Joe Biden does do those things.

But there are some things that Mr. Biden does not do: Joe Biden has never paid $130,000 to a porn star, never bragged about sexually grabbing women, operated a fraudulent university and a fraudulent charitable trust, or had a campaign manager and personal attorney sent to prison.

Yes, Joe Biden has his faults, but at the end of the day, I think Mr. Biden is a decent man and (relatively speaking) an honest man. Decency and honesty would be two very welcome attributes to the White House.
