Bible's stories sound more like fairy tales

In response to the Nov. 16 letter, “Evolution is a fairy tale for grown-ups,” I ask what sounds more like a fairy tale: the proven scientific facts that primates evolved into humans and dinosaurs are ancestors of today's birds, or the collection of stories written thousands of years ago depicting a senior citizen building an extremely large boat and rounding up two of every animal to join him?
Sounds to me that the Bible thumpers need a good history lesson.
