Better connectivity coming to Prairieburg

Prairieburg Telephone Company in Prairieburg was recently awarded over $3.9 million USDA RD Reconnect loan and grant funds to expand high speed internet to the regional community. A total of 1,232 people, 51 businesses, two farms and nine educational facilities will benefit.
Like the Rural Electrification Act of 1936 created rural electric cooperatives and brought electricity to rural America, this award is a key part of the Biden Administrations Internet for All initiative — to connect everyone to high-speed internet. Congratulations Prairieburg!
