Be mindful of motorcyclists

My husband drives Interstate 380 every day to his job in Iowa City. When the weather's nice, he rides his motorcycle.
Every week, he tells me about at least one close call that he's had, usually due to a car driver's inattentiveness.
Once this month, he was in the middle lane and cars from both of the other two lanes started coming over at the same time.
Recently, a lady even made eye contact with him in her side mirror, but still came over.
I understand that people have busy lives and need to make the most of their time, but saving a few seconds is not worth someone else's life.
My husband has been a safe rider for more than 40 years and is always on the lookout for other drivers, but it only takes a few seconds for an accident to happen.
There already have been too many motorcyclists' deaths in this area this year.
So please, watch out for my husband and all other motorcyclists on the road.
