Ban cell phones for all drivers

Could our state lawmakers be over age 18? And didn't want to lose the right to use cell phones or texting while driving?
What makes a better driver? Anyone who pays attention to what's going on around them.
I'm way over 18 and really believe this new law passed by legislators (they banned texting while driving for all and no cell phone use at all for those under 18) should be for everyone who drives, not just one age group.
How many older people do you see talking on their cell phone and have no idea there are other people around them, like they are the only ones on the road? But yes, they're older and should know better.
Like my grandmother once said, what's good for one person should be good for all.
I do have a cell phone and do drive but don't do both at the same time.
