Attend caucuses to show patriotism

To the editor:
The statements of 'Let's take back America!” and 'Make America great again” are mostly empty of meaning. But they are effective because so many of us feel government does not represent us well.
On Monday, you can have an important impact by showing up at the caucus. We are privileged to be the first state that votes so let's show our pride and patriotism and show up. Our democracy depends, not on someone who says they are really strong and will do things for us, but rather by participation of its citizenry.
In addition to standing up for your presidential preference you can meet other representatives, help set your party's platform and become more informed.
