Assisted suicide choice not for everyone
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Jul. 14, 2011 2:40 pm
The July 11 letter by Herman Lenz (“Ending life humanely is a person's choice”) was a heartless, selfish commentary on life and death. It was an insult to those of us who have been in a life or death situation or with a loved one who has.
A human being in a bad way health wise sometimes needs an angel to motivate them to keep living! Every situation is different, in many ways. And to blanket the idea of “assisted suicide” for any and everyone is simply irresponsible.
