Regarding the April 9 article 'Koch brothers' group launches ads in Iowa”:
This ad reeks of left-wing journalism. Who cares that the Kochs paid for these ads? The real narrative is that attorney Bruce Braley exposed his true character and his mission in Congress.
Who are the Koch brothers? Simply put, they are a shining example of what is attainable in our free enterprise system. Their business is wide and varied and consists of many products. In my many years in the agriculture industry, I often purchased their product and never felt that I was not treated fairly.
Yes, they are billionaires and very successful. Because of that, they have given millions to charity and worthy causes. What could be more worthy than their attempt to reduce the number of leech type attorneys in Congress? Furthermore, why ignore the billions that George Soros and his ilk have funneled into the Democrats' juggernaut machine? Koch brothers spending on politics is minuscule by comparison.
On the positive side, I applaud you for carrying the writings of Dr. Ben Carson. Besides being a world-famous neurosurgeon, he is concerned deeply about the future of this country. Keep his column coming, please.
