Article on international students’ ‘fear’ strikes its own into the public

The Gazette offers audio versions of articles using Instaread. Some words may be mispronounced.
“A ‘time of fear’ for international students” (May 5, Page 3A) doesn't live up to its headline. It is more an emotional, ideological play which falls in line with the left's apparent strategy of striking fear into the public at every opportunity.
The author fails to identify specific reasons for the document problems and how they are resolved. Root cause isn't identified. Yet, many students, after investigation, resolve their paperwork issues. If the paperwork isn't correct, it needs to be vetted. Inconvenience and nervousness, sure. Fear is unnecessary unless fraud is involved. Given the previous administration's lax handling of immigration protocol, is it shocking these document issues are surfacing?
In my humble opinion, this article is not based on a real, thorough investigation, and therefore is misleading at best. Facts matter, and the author could have provided a service by pointing out common document problems and resolution tips.
