Are you serious about issues that matter to Iowans?

Are you serious about the future of public education? After a decade of underfunding, attacks on teachers and loss of local control from Republicans in Des Moines, it’s time to show that you care about our public schools, our teachers, and our children’s education by voting on Nov. 8 to send a Democrat to Des Moines in Iowa Senate District 41. Deb Vander Gaast will stand up for public schools, teachers, and our children’s education.
Are you serious about the health of our planet? While we watch, and experience, climate disasters around the world threatening hundreds of millions of people’s lives, Republicans like Sen. Chuck Grassley remain in the pocket of the fossil fuel industry. We need to send Democrats like Michael Franken and Christina Bohannan to D.C. to fight for a clean and safe environment for our children.
Are you serious about the future of our democracy, your voting rights, and protecting a government of “We the People?” It is quite obvious that Grassley and Mariannette Miller-Meeks will stand with the autocrats and right-wing militias who would destroy what has made America a beacon of democratic freedom around the world. Michael Franken has defended our democracy for four decades as a naval officer and will continue to do that as our U.S. Senator.
Are you serious about our health care, women’s rights, veteran’s benefits, capping drug costs, common sense gun laws, and caring for the “least fortunate among us?” Show it by voting Democratic on Nov. 8.
