Anti-ethanol group supports Finkenauer

Congresswoman Abby Finkenauer owes Iowans, particularly farmers, an explanation as to what promises she made to get the endorsement of the liberal environmental group the Sierra Club.

I understand she needs their support to receive more national donations, but when more than 85 percent of her money comes from outside of Iowa, I have grave concerns about exactly who she is representing. As a farmer in Linn County, I'm worried about the Sierra Club influence - an unapologetically anti-ethanol group that supports the Green New Deal. In a recent story, Finkenauer reportedly did not respond to a request for comment. That isn't good enough for Iowa farmers and that's why I'll be supporting Ashley Hinson in November.
