Answer questions before nominee pick

Until Special Counsel Robert Mueller issues the report of his investigations, Donald Trump cannot be allowed to seat another U.S. Supreme Court justice. Trump cannot nominate a lifetime judge who may have to decide constitutional issues about who Trump is accountable to.

Troubling questions remain about the circumstances of Justice Anthony Kennedy's retirement.

As reported by the New York Times, Kennedy's son, Justin, worked at Deutsche Bank (DB) for over ten years until he left in 2009. The younger Kennedy became the bank's global head of real estate markets and allegedly worked closely with Trump at a time when DB was the sole bank that would lend to Trump due to his repeated business failures. Trump even said to Kennedy at his inauguration, 'Say hello to your boy. Special guy.”

Until the relationship is investigated, we can only speculate. Does Justin Kennedy have knowledge of Trump's alleged financial ties to Russian oligarchs? Is he currently a person of interest to Mueller's team? Did Trump offer a presidential pardon in exchange for Kennedy's retirement? We don't know the answers, but need to before Trump is allowed to remake the Supreme Court into an instrument of GOP one-party rule.
