Another four years of inept leadership
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Dec. 3, 2012 11:41 am
Supposedly paying for votes is illegal. This past election we witnessed a gigantic exhibition of such and apparently it will go unpunished or unchallenged.
This activity was abetted by this country's farmers and all taxpayers. I refer you to the food stamp program funded by U.S. Department of Agriculture and our tax money. Go back a few months; you will learn that the Obama administration conducted a concerted effort to find new people to qualify for the stamps. Without a doubt, this effort paid off at the ballot box.
So our country must suffer through another four years of inept leadership. I guess we will survive. I know from being a Chicago Cub fan for more than 70 years that there must be better days ahead.
