To the editor:
I have known Ann Rosenthal for the past 20 years. I have had the privilege of being the pediatrician to her five children and I know how dedicated she is to student education and achievement.
She has served as a volunteer school board member on the Cedar Rapids School Board since 1999. She has a desire to continue to serve because she wants to promote student achievement and to help the district manager its facilities efficiently and in a fiscally responsible manner.
She comes well-equipped for the job. She has an M.S. in Engineering and works with a team at the University of Iowa designing and maintaining over 8 million square feet of campus buildings.
In addition to her educational training and valuable experience, and will add passion for children and their education.
The school board election is Tuesday. I am asking for everyone to go out and vote for Rosenthal!
