Ann Poe will help community recover, grow
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Oct. 16, 2011 12:10 am
Ann Poe is a kind, intelligent and thoughtful person. She has spent the last several years trying to help our city recover from the Floods of 2008 as a community liaison for the Rebuild Iowa Office and as a member of the Flood Small Business Task Force. She has attended more than 95 percent of all council meetings since the flood, so she must be alert and tough as well.
She is running for the at-large City Council seat so that she can continue helping our community recover and grow. Ann lives on the east side, but grew up on the west side. She understands our town and what needs to be done to get us back on track. She is a hard worker and she's down to earth. Please vote for her on Nov. 8.
