Anhalt possesses skills needed in Legislature

I endorse Gary Anhalt in the Democratic primary election for Iowa House District 65.
He has the vital problem-solving and consensus-building skills we need in a divisive legislature.
In his years on the Cedar Rapids school board, he has demonstrated the ability to work constructively with groups and individuals toward common goals.
He also has shown the courage to stand alone; he was the only school board member to vote to keep Polk Elementary open.
I've been impressed by his willingness to listen to all points of view and by his amazing capacity for hard work.
