Amy Nielsen will go above & beyond

There is perhaps no greater challenge in politics than the ability to see past what benefits you personally and do what is best for the people and community you serve. Beyond just the desire to help, a true leader must be able to aid in the greater good.
North Liberty mayoral candidate Amy Nielsen is a leader with this ability. Her compassion, her leadership, her commitment to excellence goes beyond herself and impacts the people she serves as well as the people she serves alongside.
It has been my joy to work alongside her as board members for the North Liberty Food Pantry, as well as the Garner PTO. She gives 100 percent and goes above and beyond. We have not always agreed, but she does strive to see the 'whole picture” and communicates her thoughts and intentions clearly and with compassion.
North Liberty is a city in transition. Incredible growth in our population continues to challenge our city leaders. Her vision will get us out from 'behind the 8 ball” and in front of our growth, allowing us to anticipate and predict areas of concern rather than simply react to the trials of a lack of infrastructure, transportation challenges and the growing pains only a city in an explosion of change can experience.
