America’s good actions makes country great

America is good because American is good is the reason given by a foreign observer many years ago.
And America will remain great as long as it remains good was the conclusion that went with the observation. In this time of political and financial soul searching, it is well to recount some of the things America does that makes it great.
Every person who has an unfulfilled personal need will receive much help from many directions when his need is made known; the majority of American citizens are compassionate and helpful.
Worldwide American organizations that feed the hungry and help on a regular basis are ready to provide assistance when natural disasters occur. The American Red Cross to the Southern Baptist Association to the American military are immediately on the scene when the earthquake or other natural disaster occurs. And they stay and have a part in the rebuilding.
In my lifetime, the American military has defeated several countries in war. We are in that process now. When we win, we have helped and are helping the defeated countries to rebuild. This rebuilding is costly and is one of the reasons America will remain great because American is good.
Shame on our detractors.
