American-made goods a step in right direction

Let's get specific for a change in how to create a better economy. This is becoming a ping-pong political arena and candidates need to get down to finding solutions to the problems that we all face.
Some of these that we encounter every day are rising gas, food and, in general, living expenses. Not a new idea, but one worth really trying. It's not about votes, but the people casting these votes that should matter most, but then again that's politics as usual.
The label, Made in America, use to be a badge of pride, but now a consumer can almost be assured that the products we buy are made somewhere else. Bringing jobs back home also will bring back the sense of pride that American hands did the work and could then bring their wages back to their families where it is so badly needed. This change can happen and should, but will it? Working together it could happen and be a reality. At least a place to start.
Let's feed our own population and create energies to sustain ourselves. Let's bring back the America we still remember with pride. We can't change the world, but we can change to some degree what will fill the pockets of hardworking Americans.
We all want a future for our families that resembles somewhat the America that means something to all Americans present and in memory of proud past generations, namely pride.
