America needs the selflessness of ‘agape’

America's festering wounds shall never heal while enemies of individualism create fear through half-truths and innuendos. Rush Limbaugh would say, “Individualism is a personal independence in action, character or interests with an attitude favoring the liberty of the individual in religion, ethics or politics opposing socialism and totalitarianism.” This hinders the intellectual elitists' creation of emotionalism to conceal the truth.
On Jan. 17 we celebrated a man who asked us to judge another by the “ ... content of their character ... “ However, just as humanity has changed God's creation into a lie to satisfy their overly indulgent/obsessive nature, these truth twisters' character has atrophied, becoming far deadlier than any weapon.
America's only hope is the truth found in C.S. Lewis' book, “The Four Loves.” Four Greek words for love, storage (affection), philia (friendship), eros (sexual) and agape (charity/selflessness), that explain the complexity/failure of humanity to love, as Jesus/God does. Without the aspect of agape at the center of the other three, they become demons inspiring us to lie and to worship them instead of God's truth. “I am the truth” - Jesus.
