America is about equal justice

In regard to Sally Jones' Nov. 28 guest column, “Rich need to be grateful, taxed”: What did the “rich” do to deserve to be treated as second-class citizens? America is about equal justice, not social justice, under the law.
When Jones, the rich lady, sends all her family's income to the government and then waits for what it returns to her, then she can spout off about what rich people should do with money that they earn.
How does it help you to take from others and allow the government to decide who gets what?
When everyone's property is not protected, then property can be seized at the whim of the government.
Everyone needs to have skin in the game, so that when the government wants to raise taxes, everyone is affected, not just the productive who make jobs we all need.
