America deserved more than she’s getting

On Jan. 20, the United States of America will inaugurate a felon for the U.S. presidency.
As a kid, I’ll bet Little Donnie had likenesses to the spoiled brat in your family who would give Great Aunt Tilly a black eye just to be in line first at the Thanksgiving buffet. That pales in comparison to the many sins he’s committed since.
If history books aren’t completely banned, will Trump’s story of squandered wealth, coercion, racial slurs and ongoing friendships with ultrarich sexual predators be highlighted under the 47th U.S. President’s column?
To the early morning farmers and waitresses who awaken the world … the teachers and day care workers who nurture our babies … the factory workers and over-the-road truckers who keep us globally competitive … and the health care and military heroes who save our lives every single day … all are worthy of more.
Americans are entitled to be healthy. Owning a home shouldn’t be a fantasy. Securities can’t be earned by chance. They are justified in having a government that protects democracy and keeping them free.
Donald Trump is a monumental disgrace as a leader for the free world. America, you deserved more.
