Alliant destroying trees, ruining city’s beauty

Alliant Energy seems to be getting away with murder by destroying the beauty and symmetry of many trees on city parkways so that electrical transmission and cable wiring will not touch the branches. The city forestry department is approving this destruction.
I don't watch television, I don't use cable and the creation of all of this ugliness is not being done for my benefit. No one ruined trees in this manner when I was growing up in this once beautiful city.
