Adopting pets a positive experience; don’t delay

I adopted a dog in January and recently adopted two cats, one for my granddaughter, from the Cedar Rapids Animal Shelter. I have to say the experience was quite a positive one. There seems to be more effort toward getting the animals adopted out to homes.
I'm hoping the public will respond.
There are at least a half dozen cats that have been there longer than the rest. Beautiful animals, all, their names are Tigger, a majestic dark-striped cat; Midnight, spirited and fun loving; Clark, a sweet taffy-colored cat; Desi, a gorgeous animal; and Bobby, almost a twin of Tigger. Several others are waiting.
They're in a warehouse type building, about a block and a half east off Blairs Ferry Road, at 2109 North Towne Lane NE. Dog lovers also will not be disappointed in the great choices offered.
I hope people don't put off what would be a good, positive thing to do. Time does have a habit of running out.
