Admit the error, change the law

Watching Neil Cavuto's news programs lately, he has interviewed both Democrats and Republicans. Both sides recognize major problems with the Affordable Care Act. Some, of course, wish to repeal. Progressive policies will once again hurt the people they say they wish to help. Companies, such as UPS, have announced they will drop family coverage (many others have done the same - more will follow). The employee will still be covered by the company's plan. So, where is the spouse and children supposed to go for coverage - an exchange? This cost comes out of the employee's pocket.

Iowa does have plans for the financially challenged - Medicaid is just one. Medical care cannot be denied. As one legislator characterized ACA: Now our medical care will mimic the care given by the Department of Veterans Affairs. In some cases, OK, in others, sadly lacking. Admit the error, change the law.
