Accuracy needed in job growth numbers

To the editor:
I assume our good governor will be sure to include all the jobs lost at John Deere in Waterloo and Ankeny, and the jobs lost at IBM in Dubuque, when he raves about all the jobs he's created in Iowa. After all, the only real bottom line in jobs is the number of jobs created minus the number of jobs lost.
I wouldn't want the good people of Iowa being misled by inflated job creation numbers.
