Abortion no different from killing an infant

Nobody should be able to take a baby's life because they made a bad choice. If anything they should find a way to take responsibility instead of resorting to abortion. Aborting a baby in the womb is pretty much the same thing as aborting a baby when it is a week old. Yet if you were to kill a baby that is a week old you would find yourself behind bars. Why shouldn't it be the same for abortion? Either way you're taking a life.
