Abby Finkenauer will work for common good

An earlier letter writer said Abby Finkenauer's 'bubble suggests white privilege” ('It's about Finkenauer, her experiences,” Sept. 6). The writer is entitled to her opinion, of course.
In my opinion, Abby will push for the betterment of those in the working class, including equal pay for women. That would mean wives and daughters could make as much as men if performing the same job.
I also think Abby will push for the right of every person to have great health care. That is something I do not think should be a financial burden for anyone. I do not think pre-existing conditions should prevent anyone from getting the health care they need. That would be devastating to those unfortunate people, especially infants who are born with a health problem.
My judgment is being a part of the working class is not a privilege, but rather a result of hard work.
I also like the fact that Finkenauer advocates for legislators to work together for the common good.
