A tribute to Marion’s Morris Neighbor

Marion lost a great banker and friend in Morris 'Morry” Neighbor. His efforts helped put Marion on the map. He helped many businesses succeed in life, and we were one of them!
In 1962 we started Brown & Dyer Construction, and Farmers State Bank was the only bank that would give us a line of credit. Morris and FSB were there as the years passed by, and we built several businesses together. Bali Hia Estates, Kirkwood Estates, Eagle Ridge Community, Prairie View Technology Park. Hawkeye Ready Mix, and several other commercial and residential communities were made possible with their help. They were always there when we needed them!
I know his family will carry on with his great banking traditions, as they have big shoes to fill. Morris was one of a kind, and will be missed by all of us. May he rest in peace.
