During the last presidential election the vast majority of eligible voters (a whopping 36%) chose not to vote at all, a visceral scream echoing the current dismay regarding both our dominant political parties.
Only 31% of eligible voters cast their ballot for Democrats, a flailing party whose representatives have long talked swell about helping the lower and middle classes and fixing the sad state of our planet, then after getting elected, pivot to appease the plundering capitalist financiers and corporations to secure big bucks and tenure. The only truth-sayer for decades has been Bernie Sanders whose influence the party has relentlessly worked to squash.
The other mere 32% of eligible voters cast their ballots for Republicans, a party now consisting mainly of blind followers of an evil con-man bullyboy who has lied, cheated, and stolen his entire way through life and admits he wants nothing more than to destroy all governing systems so he can become a tyrant fascist king.
Meanwhile, both parties continue assisting Isreal with relentless and horrific genocides of thousands of innocent Palestinian women and children.
Is it any wonder American voters simply choose to skip our current inept election process?
