A reader is grateful for The Gazette

In a Feb. 10 community letter, David Shaw questioned the accuracy of a Gazette 'Quote of the Week” from the editorial page. The quote, 'Neither of Iowa's senators have tried very hard to be impartial.” That quote was from a Jan. 30 Gazette editorial entitled, 'It's vital that Grassley, Ernst take impeachment seriously.” The writer of the community letter, David Shaw, was incorrect with his insinuation of bias.
I am grateful for accurate reporting and challenging editorials from The Gazette. From reading Mr. Shaw's letter I believe he is just picking a fight, a fight that he has no truth to stand on.
