A northwest fire station without condemnation

Regarding the proposed northwest fire station site: Eminent domain should not be used in this case. Use the other property and leave Dave and Sue Kramer's land intact.
Sure, it's important to have a fire station but the Crestwood Drive location would be much better and wouldn't ruin the Kramers' beautiful property.
If city officials would just consider whether they would like a fire station next to one of their homes, maybe they would reconsider whether to use the condemnation process in this case.
