A merry melody from our cartoon-worthy President

I grew up watching Warner Bros. cartoons. I still do. In 1955, Bugs and Elmer were great in a cartoon called "Hare Brush." Elmer was the CEO of a major company. He suddenly went cwazy and thought he was a wabbit. The Board sent him to the fun ... excuse me, they sent Elmer to be evaluated by a psychiatrist. Bugs shows up, and gets enticed (by a carrot) into trading places with Elmer. Very soon after, Bugs believes he is "Elmer J. Fudd, millionaire. I own a mansion and a yacht." Now cured, he returns to his mansion.

On Wednesday, Elmer goes out to hunt wabbits. Then, the Internal Revenue Service shows up and arrests Bugs due to $300,000 owed in back taxes. Elmer (the real one) is very happy. Wearing his bunny suit, Elmer looks at the camera and says "I may be cwazy, but I'm not going to Alcatwaz! "

Sixty-eight years later, President Biden may prove to be the smartest man in DC.
